Why are Speakers important to your music?

Speakers (aka LoudSpeakers) are devices that convert audio electrical signal into a corresponding sound and the first type pf speakers were invented in the late 1880. Such a long time ago. Well by 1920s, speakers were being used in phonographs, radios, public address systems and in the theatres.

Well, the type of speakers used nowadays are dynamic speakers. They were invented in 1925 and they operate on the same principle as a dynamic microphone but they produce sound from an electrical signal. The source of the sound needs to be amplified before the signal is sent to the speaker.
For those who don't know, speakers are housed in an enclosure (could be of various shapes) and the enclosure plays a vital role in the quality of the sound that the speaker gives.

Move over to New Generation Loud Speakers

The technology behind loud speakers has so improved the they reach decibels never imagined in the early 1980s.

You would find speakers nowadays that fit into your pockets as long as you are not wearing tights.

Most of these speakers play quality music and they improve the sound of music the emit.

Rejected Again! 5 Reasons You Are Not Getting Your Dream Job

Have you been attending loads of job interviews but you are not getting any job offers? Do you dread the next email or phone call that may come in just because it might be another rejection mail/call? Or hiring managers are so unfair that they intentionally rule you out from that position of chemist, CAD engineer, IT Manager, electrical engineer or Head of Security.

Truth be told, you are most likely the problem if you are getting rejected job after job that you are qualified for. The job of Recruiters and Hiring Managers is to fill vacancies with highly qualified people because they are not paid to reject anyone.

Take a step back and reflect on why you have not been getting invited back. If you are sincere with yourself you would probably note that its more with the way you present yourself which is not surprising because job interviews are not a daily routine. you would need to review you interview process the same way you would criticize you on the job performance.

Here are five reasons you have not been getting job offers:

1. You’re just not qualified.

Yes, you are not qualified for the job. You improve your chances of getting a job by applying for every jobs you see, but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, you would just nit fit into the job. You could also have overstated your qualifications on your resume. This would be noticed when you go for an interview and it would be obvious that you lack the experience and skills required to fit into the position. Lesson to note here is that you should not set yourself up for failure by putting in for jobs that are clearly outside your level of expertise.

2. You weren't ready for the interview.

Oops. You already knew you were going for an interview but mentally you just was not ready to be questioned by the interviewer. It might also be that you arrived late or you were dressed inappropriately. Texting during the discussions is a big no no and bad mouthing your former colleagues or your former boss is a sign of intolerance which you should have under control during an interview.

You can resolve this be preparing yourself with a friend as the interviewer to help settle your nerves. Also know the standard questions and their answers. Having examples of your pass accomplishments to discuss would demonstrate your ability on the job.

3. They hired internally

What!!!@ Why was a job ad placed? Why call people in for aptitude tests? Why make people go through interviews if they were going to hire internally. Well it might just be that of all of the people they interviewed none was a good as the guy in the office. There's really nothing you can do about this and you need to get over it and move on fast. You could vent over it with some friends though!!

4. Your references didn't give their support

This is an important step in the hiring process and if you have anyone as your reference without informing them first, it might as well be the end of your job hunt. Always ensure you stay in touch with your references so they have your most current contact information and can back you up whenever they receive calls from employer(s).

 5.  Inability to sell yourself

Your major responsibility during an interview is to sell yourself and it includes blowing your own horn. As loud as you possibly can. Even if you have not done much in the past, list whatever you have achieved and let it be known. Also note that its good to put a call through after three days to reinforce your interest in the job.

In conclusion, you may not be getting job offers as much as you want but its your responsitility  to make sure that you continuously avoid anything that can prevent you from moving on from the interview stage to the job stage.

What do you celebrate about yourself?

The answer you would get from most people is “I don’t know I was supposed to be celebrating myself?”  I think that answer by itself,  would show the type of lives most people live. A lot of people don’t know they need to celebrate THEMSELVES first before any other thing.
Take a good look at yourself and start to outline all the things you are grateful for. Life must be enjoyed and not endured. There are some steps you need to take to identify how to celebrate yourself from now on.
What do you need in order to start?
Start off by asking yourself the following question daily: “Dehinde, what do you need?” to your daily practice of asking what you celebrate about yourself. It would become apparent to your that maybe you don’t know who you were or what you should be celebrating about yourself because you never recognized your own needs.
A lot of people are afraid of being “needy”.  It’s often associated with a sense of being overly clingy or even desperate.  And that was exactly what you don’t want to project out to those around you.  So you stuffed your feelings and ignored your needs.  You turned into the person who never asked anything of anyone, never had an opinion, never rocked the boat, just existed. And all of that would really get you repeatedly being used as people’s doormats.
Changing your perspective
The truth is that everyone has needs.  It’s unhealthy not to have needs.  You need love, you need positive human contact and healthy relationships.  You need to be seen and heard without judgment and you need whatever is unique to you to be who you are as a whole person.  When you ignore those needs you deny who you are and if you deny who you are how can you ever expect to know how to celebrate yourself?
Try to more open minded and be ready to accept change anytime it comes. Being resistant to change is self limiting and reduces your ability to reason properly.
Process for Celebrating Yourself
The steps you need to take to celebrateyourself includes the following:
·         You ask for what I need,
·         You receive it,
·         You celebrate myself for asking,
·         And then fight your own negativity and criticism that says you are messing everything up by being so vulnerable and needy.
This is a process.  You have to respect it and know that despite how hard it is, that you are worthy of having needs so that you can discover who you are, embrace that person and celebrate all the things that make you, uniquely you.

The CELLPHONE is 40 years today!!!

People want to talk to other people - not a house, or an office, or a car. Given a choice, people will demand the freedom to communicate wherever they are, unfettered by the infamous copper wire. It is that freedom we sought to vividly demonstrate in 1973," said Martin Cooper.
Those were the words of Matin Cooper, the man whose company - MOTOROLA, who created the first mobile cellphone that has gone worldwide today. This man had a vision which was to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to communicate with ease.

Today, his dream is in the hands of over 3billion people and he has also created stupendous wealth for millions of other people. This man can be categorised as a visionary and we all owe him a very big thank you for the effort he put in the creation of this useful gadget.

Today, we have a lot of variety of cellphones that also have varying degrees of use. Most phones now have data, video, wifi etc that have transformed the lives of everyone.

Once again, Thank you Martin Cooper.

Are you still Hiding your talents?

Femi (not real name) is a guy who loved to enjoy life. he basically took life at one day at a time. He had finished his NYSC and was looking for a job to practice all he had learnt from school but he wasn't getting any closer to finding one. This was back in 2006. Around this time he also showed that he could write lyrics.

Yes, lyrics of songs. He was advised by his close friend to pick up this talent of his, polish it and start selling them to Nigerian and Foreign artiste. But he totally shrugged off the idea without trying it. Today, he works a 9 - 5 job and is always complaining of being broke.

If he had at least tried out the idea of writing and selling his lyrics he would have opened to himself a whole new world of opportunities. Learn from now to work on your talents because it might just be your ticket to surviving out there.

Cheers
