The CELLPHONE is 40 years today!!!

People want to talk to other people - not a house, or an office, or a car. Given a choice, people will demand the freedom to communicate wherever they are, unfettered by the infamous copper wire. It is that freedom we sought to vividly demonstrate in 1973," said Martin Cooper.
Those were the words of Matin Cooper, the man whose company - MOTOROLA, who created the first mobile cellphone that has gone worldwide today. This man had a vision which was to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to communicate with ease.

Today, his dream is in the hands of over 3billion people and he has also created stupendous wealth for millions of other people. This man can be categorised as a visionary and we all owe him a very big thank you for the effort he put in the creation of this useful gadget.

Today, we have a lot of variety of cellphones that also have varying degrees of use. Most phones now have data, video, wifi etc that have transformed the lives of everyone.

Once again, Thank you Martin Cooper.
