The two common technologies most rife in wireless speakers ar RF (radio frequency) and Infra-Red. while each have their own deserves, their practicality is somewhat restricted. frequency, as an example, can typically suffer from interference and reception problems, while Infra-Red needs the device and also the receiver to be in-line with each other, thereby limiting movability.

However, for home use, you may want to look at other Speakers supplier that may deliver a lot of power and higher sound quality.

Does a Cup Need To Be Smart?

Maybe not. But in this time and age lots of things have changed from what they used to be (boring) to something exciting. Before now, all you just did with your cup was to drink liquid, be it coffee, juice, water etc.

For those who don't know, a cup is a small open container used for drinking and carrying drinks. It may be made of wood, plastic, glass, clay, metal, stone, china or other materials, and may have a stem, handles or other adornments. Cups are used for drinking across a wide range of cultures and social classes, and different styles of cups may be used for different liquids or in different situations.

With the invention of smart cups, individuals, businesses now have a luxury of functions that a cup could give them. Nowadays, these cups have been embedded with sensors that can determine the temperature of the liquid you have put in it. This is a useful feature especially if you need to monitor the temperature of what you need to consume.

Smart Cups can also have LEDs built into them. Depending on the model you have, these LEDs indicate when the cup is touched, volume of liquid content and lots of other functions. These functions tend to make life easier for those who use them.

They can be life savers too. A Smart Cup can remind the owner to drink water to avoid dehydration which can be a strain on the health of anyone. Being Dehydrated can lead to dizziness.

Why are Speakers important to your music?

Speakers (aka LoudSpeakers) are devices that convert audio electrical signal into a corresponding sound and the first type pf speakers were invented in the late 1880. Such a long time ago. Well by 1920s, speakers were being used in phonographs, radios, public address systems and in the theatres.

Well, the type of speakers used nowadays are dynamic speakers. They were invented in 1925 and they operate on the same principle as a dynamic microphone but they produce sound from an electrical signal. The source of the sound needs to be amplified before the signal is sent to the speaker.
For those who don't know, speakers are housed in an enclosure (could be of various shapes) and the enclosure plays a vital role in the quality of the sound that the speaker gives.

Move over to New Generation Loud Speakers

The technology behind loud speakers has so improved the they reach decibels never imagined in the early 1980s.
Loud Speaker
Decibel of Loud Speakers Now!
You would think this can only be achieved with big, giant speakers but it is heart warming t know that as loud speakers have gotten louder, their sizes have also reduced considerably.
You would find speakers nowadays that fit into your pockets as long as you are not wearing tights.
Portable Speaker

Most of these speakers play quality music and they improve the sound of music the emit.

Rejected Again! 5 Reasons You Are Not Getting Your Dream Job

Have you been attending loads of job interviews but you are not getting any job offers? Do you dread the next email or phone call that may come in just because it might be another rejection mail/call? Or hiring managers are so unfair that they intentionally rule you out from that position of chemist, CAD engineer, IT Manager, electrical engineer or Head of Security.

Truth be told, you are most likely the problem if you are getting rejected job after job that you are qualified for. The job of Recruiters and Hiring Managers is to fill vacancies with highly qualified people because they are not paid to reject anyone.

Take a step back and reflect on why you have not been getting invited back. If you are sincere with yourself you would probably note that its more with the way you present yourself which is not surprising because job interviews are not a daily routine. you would need to review you interview process the same way you would criticize you on the job performance.

Here are five reasons you have not been getting job offers:

1. You’re just not qualified.

Yes, you are not qualified for the job. You improve your chances of getting a job by applying for every jobs you see, but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, you would just nit fit into the job. You could also have overstated your qualifications on your resume. This would be noticed when you go for an interview and it would be obvious that you lack the experience and skills required to fit into the position. Lesson to note here is that you should not set yourself up for failure by putting in for jobs that are clearly outside your level of expertise.

2. You weren't ready for the interview.

Oops. You already knew you were going for an interview but mentally you just was not ready to be questioned by the interviewer. It might also be that you arrived late or you were dressed inappropriately. Texting during the discussions is a big no no and bad mouthing your former colleagues or your former boss is a sign of intolerance which you should have under control during an interview.

You can resolve this be preparing yourself with a friend as the interviewer to help settle your nerves. Also know the standard questions and their answers. Having examples of your pass accomplishments to discuss would demonstrate your ability on the job.

3. They hired internally

What!!!@ Why was a job ad placed? Why call people in for aptitude tests? Why make people go through interviews if they were going to hire internally. Well it might just be that of all of the people they interviewed none was a good as the guy in the office. There's really nothing you can do about this and you need to get over it and move on fast. You could vent over it with some friends though!!

4. Your references didn't give their support

This is an important step in the hiring process and if you have anyone as your reference without informing them first, it might as well be the end of your job hunt. Always ensure you stay in touch with your references so they have your most current contact information and can back you up whenever they receive calls from employer(s).

 5.  Inability to sell yourself

Your major responsibility during an interview is to sell yourself and it includes blowing your own horn. As loud as you possibly can. Even if you have not done much in the past, list whatever you have achieved and let it be known. Also note that its good to put a call through after three days to reinforce your interest in the job.

In conclusion, you may not be getting job offers as much as you want but its your responsitility  to make sure that you continuously avoid anything that can prevent you from moving on from the interview stage to the job stage.

What do you celebrate about yourself?

The answer you would get from most people is “I don’t know I was supposed to be celebrating myself?”  I think that answer by itself,  would show the type of lives most people live. A lot of people don’t know they need to celebrate THEMSELVES first before any other thing.
Take a good look at yourself and start to outline all the things you are grateful for. Life must be enjoyed and not endured. There are some steps you need to take to identify how to celebrate yourself from now on.
What do you need in order to start?
Start off by asking yourself the following question daily: “Dehinde, what do you need?” to your daily practice of asking what you celebrate about yourself. It would become apparent to your that maybe you don’t know who you were or what you should be celebrating about yourself because you never recognized your own needs.
A lot of people are afraid of being “needy”.  It’s often associated with a sense of being overly clingy or even desperate.  And that was exactly what you don’t want to project out to those around you.  So you stuffed your feelings and ignored your needs.  You turned into the person who never asked anything of anyone, never had an opinion, never rocked the boat, just existed. And all of that would really get you repeatedly being used as people’s doormats.
Changing your perspective
The truth is that everyone has needs.  It’s unhealthy not to have needs.  You need love, you need positive human contact and healthy relationships.  You need to be seen and heard without judgment and you need whatever is unique to you to be who you are as a whole person.  When you ignore those needs you deny who you are and if you deny who you are how can you ever expect to know how to celebrate yourself?
Try to more open minded and be ready to accept change anytime it comes. Being resistant to change is self limiting and reduces your ability to reason properly.
Process for Celebrating Yourself
The steps you need to take to celebrateyourself includes the following:
·         You ask for what I need,
·         You receive it,
·         You celebrate myself for asking,
·         And then fight your own negativity and criticism that says you are messing everything up by being so vulnerable and needy.
This is a process.  You have to respect it and know that despite how hard it is, that you are worthy of having needs so that you can discover who you are, embrace that person and celebrate all the things that make you, uniquely you.

The CELLPHONE is 40 years today!!!

People want to talk to other people - not a house, or an office, or a car. Given a choice, people will demand the freedom to communicate wherever they are, unfettered by the infamous copper wire. It is that freedom we sought to vividly demonstrate in 1973," said Martin Cooper.
Those were the words of Matin Cooper, the man whose company - MOTOROLA, who created the first mobile cellphone that has gone worldwide today. This man had a vision which was to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to communicate with ease.

Today, his dream is in the hands of over 3billion people and he has also created stupendous wealth for millions of other people. This man can be categorised as a visionary and we all owe him a very big thank you for the effort he put in the creation of this useful gadget.

Today, we have a lot of variety of cellphones that also have varying degrees of use. Most phones now have data, video, wifi etc that have transformed the lives of everyone.

Once again, Thank you Martin Cooper.

Are you still Hiding your talents?

Femi (not real name) is a guy who loved to enjoy life. he basically took life at one day at a time. He had finished his NYSC and was looking for a job to practice all he had learnt from school but he wasn't getting any closer to finding one. This was back in 2006. Around this time he also showed that he could write lyrics.

Yes, lyrics of songs. He was advised by his close friend to pick up this talent of his, polish it and start selling them to Nigerian and Foreign artiste. But he totally shrugged off the idea without trying it. Today, he works a 9 - 5 job and is always complaining of being broke.

If he had at least tried out the idea of writing and selling his lyrics he would have opened to himself a whole new world of opportunities. Learn from now to work on your talents because it might just be your ticket to surviving out there.

The Advantages of Dry Cleaning

But just because doing laundry at home is a simple process doesn’t mean it’s all your clothes need. In fact, on the contrary; in addition to machine washing, dry cleaning is an essential part of keeping your wardrobe—and some pieces more than others—in the best condition possible. Here are some of the advantages of dry cleaning:
Odor removal. Certain types of odors, like those from smoke and water damage, are incredibly difficult to remove. Most dry cleaners have processes that can handle these dilemmas, even if the smell in question has been present for a long time.

We may complain about it every so often, and it might be a hassle in the midst of our busy lives, but let’s face it: doing laundry is pretty easy. After all, people used to wash every piece of clothing by hand, but now we have machines that will do it for us, so long as we load them.

Care for particular fabrics. One of the biggest risks in washing at home is how fabrics will respond. While some materials like cotton are generally safe, others, like wool, can go either way, and some shouldn’t be machine washed or dried at all. Dry cleaning ensures that the fabric will be handled properly according to its needs, and it takes the burden off you to decide how to treat it.

Stain removal. Similar to odors, stains that withstand the most dogged of washings can often be eliminated during a trip to the cleaners.

Finishing is done for you. Some of the real time investment in doing laundry comes in the ironing, folding, and hanging stages; and if you skimp there, clothes become wrinkled and disheveled. Dry cleaners take this step for you, and we make sure it’s professionally done.

So get your dry-cleaner to do it for you

Stay Focused on Getting Slimmer and Staying that Way!!

"I’m going to be a fat blob on my wedding day!” The voice on the other end of the phone was desperate. “Can you help me?”

The FIRST LAW of MONEY!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIRST LAW:
Money cometh gladly and in increasing quantity to any man who will put by not less than one-tenth of his earnings to create an estate for his future and that of his family.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very simple indeed! You have worked for the month or you are a trader, business man etc. The first law of money is to ensure that you save one – tenth of whatever you earn for yourself.
You might earn just N10, 000 ($100) per month and it is just not enough to save from. It’s not true. List out all your expenses per month and you would discover that there are some unnecessary purchases that you can do away with.

No matter the amount of money you earn you can save   one – tenth of that amount.

Your present expenses might include the following:
·
            Pay for DSTV (Premium – N10, 000)
·         Shop @ the Mall every Friday
·         Take friends out on a weekly basis
·         Buy recharge credit etc

The list goes on and on depending on the individual. But looking at this list above you can actually reduce that cost without changing your life style.

Look at a new list below:
·
Pay for DSTV (Compact – N4500)
·         Shop @ the Mall every two weeks
·         Take friends out weekly – bill is shared
·         Get good offers to reduce call  rates

When you look at the two lifestyles above you would discover that the second one is what you would get after going through your expenses and adjusting it. You would have reduced your expenses and also have the ability to save a minimum of one –tenth of your earnings. It’s not easy though but you can surely achieve it.

So take a look at your earning and expenditure today, you might just be spending that amount you need to save for your future.

How to handle a Cheating Partner!

CNN found that Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman in America. Women admire her because she's strong and successful. Men admire her because she allows her husband to cheat and get away with it.
Jay Leno (source http://thinkexist.com/quotation/cnn_found_that_hillary_clinton_is_the_most/212066.html)

You might be thinking that you are the only one going through a tough time. You just found out your partner is seeing someone else.

The way you handle it really matters. Look at the matured way Hillary Clinton handled her husband’s cheating saga and came out stronger. She is better off today.

It is worth trying out.

Cheers and don’t be a cheater!

Nigerian Politician Olusola Saraki Is Dead

Dr. Olusola Saraki, popular Nigerian politician and second republic senator poplularly known as the "strongman of Kwara politics" has died at the age of 79.

Dr. Saraki died in his sleep at his Camera road home in Ikoyi Lagos according to family sources.

Dr. Saraki  will be buried today in Ilorin at 4pm Nigerian time according to Muslim rites.

Seven Laws of Money!!

The following laws were published in 1977 in 'Seven laws of Money' by Mike Phillips. Mike, a Bank of America banker, was instrumental in developing Master Charge.

1. Do it! Money will come when you are doing the right thing. The first law is the hardest for most people to accept and is the source of the most distress. The clearest translation of this in terms of personal advice is "go ahead and do what you want to do." Worry about your ability to do it and competence to do it, but certainly do not worry about the money.

2. Money has its own rules: records, budgets, savings, borrowing. The rules of money are probably Ben Franklin-type rules, such as never squander it, don't be a spendthrift, be very careful, you have to account for what you're doing, you must keep track of it, and you can never ignore what happens to money.

3. Money is a dream - a fantasy as alluring as the Pied Piper. Money is very much a state of mind. It's much like the states of consciousness that you see on an acid trip... It is fantasy in itself, purely a dream. People who go after it as though it were real and tangible, say a person who is trying to earn a hundred- thousand dollars, orient their lives and end up in such a way as to have been significantly changed simply to have reached that goal. They become part of that object and since the object is a dream ( a mirage) they become quite different from what they set out to be.

4. Money is a nightmare - in jail, robbery, fears of poverty. I am not expressing a moral judgment. I am making very clear something that many people aren't conscious of: among the people we punish, the people we have to take out of society, 80% or more are people who are unable to deal with money. Money is also a nightmare when looked at from the opposite perspective - from the point of view of people who have inherited a lot of money. The western dream is to have a lot of money, and then you can lead a life of leisure and happiness. Nothing in my experience could be further from the truth.

5. You can never give money away. Looked at over a period of time, money flows in certain channels, like electricity through wires. The wires define the relationship, and the flow is the significant thing to look at. The fifth law of money suggests that by looking at the gift in a larger or longer-term perspective, we will see that it is part of a two-way flow.

6. You can never really receive money as a gift. Money is either borrowed or lent or possibly invested. It is never given or received without those concepts implicit in it. Giving money requires some payment; if it's not repaid the nightmare elements enter into it. A gift of money is really a contract; it's really a repayable loan, and it requires performance and an accounting of performance that is satisfactory to the giver.

7. There are worlds without money. They are the worlds of art, poetry, music, dance, sex, etc. the essentials of human life. The seventh law is like a star that is your guide. You know that you cannot live on the star; it is not physically a part of your life, but rather an aid to orientation. You are not going to reach this star, but in some sense neither are you going to reach your destination without it to guide you.

Get your beautiful body back!

At it's most basic, losing weight is about burning more calories than you eat. That seems simple enough, but if were really that simple, none of us would have a weight problem.

Too often we take drastic measures to see results -- diets, pills or those weird fitness gadgets on infomercials that promise instant success. Maybe you lose weight but what happens when you go off that diet or stop that crazy workout program? You gain it all back and more.

The real secret to weight loss is to make small, lasting changes. The key is to forget about instant results and settle in for the long run.
Remember it is all about you and your beautiful body

IT HURTS TO BE CHEATED ON!

Have you ever been in a position where the person in your life that you love is practically loving another with little or no concern for you?

If you have been you would realize that it’s a very painful situation and it might lead to psychological trauma for the affected person.

One of the major causes of infidelity is lack of interest in your partner.

Cheers and don’t be a cheater!
